Where are you from?: Italy; immigrated to NY, lived in Georgia, Illinois, Hong Kong, and now Texas.
What’s a random/fun fact about yourself?: I worked in my family’s vineyard in Italy helping my grandparents make our house wine. I also have a Culinary Art degree and spent 15 years in the hospitality industry before I heeded the call to serve the Church.
Who’s your favorite saint and why?: St. Ignatius of Loyola. I was so moved by his conversion story when I began my graduate studies at Loyola University of Chicago that I decided to add a concentration to my MDiv in Spiritual Direction. I pray for St. Ignatius’ accompaniment as I strive to adhere to the teachings of Ignatian spirituality and do all things “Ad maiorem Dei gloriam” (For the Greater Glory of God).
What’s your favorite part about SJN?: The SJN community. The people here are fervent witnesses to the power of love in the life of our church with boundless faith, generosity, compassion, and dedication. This is our home.
