If you are a new family to our community, please visit sjnaustin.org/imnew to register your family as parishioners before proceeding to register for Faith Formation. Your family must be registered parishioners to register for Faith Formation.
Faith Formation (age 3 through 12th grade):
We offer a variety of options for ongoing formation for our youngest parishioners.

Faith Formation Fees:- Catechesis of the Good Shepherd - $225
- Elementary Faith Formation
Sunday Children’s Faith Formation - $125
Family Faith -$150 Family Fee and $25 for each additional child (The additional cost contributes to meals) - Middle School Faith Formation - $125 (The additional $25 contributes to snacks and drinks for the year.)
- High School Faith Formation - $175 (The additional $50 contributes to dinner for the year.)
Sacrament Preparation:
Preparation to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation is in addition to the regular faith formation classes. Registered Faith Formation families with children who are eligible to enter the First Reconciliation/First Communion Preparation Program or the Confirmation Preparation Program should register their child for the appropriate Sacrament under the Faith Formation Registration.
Eligibility:
Students must be enrolled in Faith Formation to participate in the Sacrament Preparation programs. To learn more about Sacrament Preparation programs, go to First Communion or Confirmation
Sacrament Preparation Fees:- First Communion Prep - $100 in addition to the $125 Faith Formation Registration fee
