Members of our Welcome Team are often the first people someone meets when they are looking to learn more about our parish. They offer a friendly welcome, answer questions, and help connect people with groups, events, and opportunities to grow in faith and become part of our parish family. 

This ministry is open to parishioners who enjoy meeting new people, sharing hospitality, and helping others take their next step in the life of the Church. The Welcome Team Members serve based on their availability, typically about once a month, and are asked to arrive 20 minutes before Mass and remain about 20 minutes afterward.

Greeters are often the first people someone meets when they come to Mass, helping everyone feel welcome and at home. They greet parishioners and visitors with a smile, hand out worship aids before Mass, and give out bulletins after Mass. 

This ministry is open to those who enjoy meeting people and sharing Christ's love through hospitality. Greeters serve based on their availability, arrive 30 minutes before Mass, and stay about 10–15 minutes afterward.

Ushers help everyone have a welcoming and prayerful experience at Mass by offering hospitality and assisting wherever they are needed. They greet parishioners and visitors, help people find seats, take up the collection, assist during Communion, and answer questions when needed. 

This ministry is open to those who enjoy serving others with kindness and a helpful spirit. Ushers serve based on their availability, arrive 30 minutes before Mass, and stay about 10–15 minutes afterward.

Altar Servers help the priest and deacon during Mass by serving at the altar and helping everything flow smoothly. They learn different jobs, like carrying the cross and candles, holding the Roman Missal, ringing the bells, bringing up the gifts, and, with more training, serving with incense at special Masses. 

This ministry is open to Catholics who have received their First Holy Communion and want to grow closer to Jesus by serving at Mass. Servers choose the Masses that fit their schedule and are asked to arrive 20–30 minutes before Mass and stay about 10–15 minutes afterward.

Music Ministers help lead the congregation in prayer through singing and music, lifting hearts and minds to God during the Mass. Whether you sing in the choir or play an instrument, you can use your talents to help create a beautiful and prayerful worship experience for our parish. 

We welcome musicians and singers of many skill levels, musical styles, and instruments who have a desire to serve through music and are willing to grow in this ministry. Music Ministers serve based on their availability and attend rehearsals and Masses as scheduled by the Music Ministry Director.

Lectors share God's Word by reading the Scriptures during Mass, helping everyone listen, pray, and grow in faith. They may also lead the Prayers of the Faithful when a deacon is not present, so it is important to prepare the readings ahead of time. 

This ministry is open to fully initiated Catholics who are at least 16 years old, love God's Word, and want to proclaim it with faith and confidence. Lectors serve based on their availability, are asked to prepare their readings before Mass, and arrive 15–20 minutes early.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion help the priest and deacon share the Body and Blood of Christ with the faithful during Mass. They serve with great care and reverence, helping everyone receive Holy Communion in a prayerful and respectful way. 

This ministry is open to fully initiated Catholics who are at least 16 years old, are in good standing with the Church, have a deep love for the Eucharist, and strive to live a life of faith. EMHCs serve based on their availability and are asked to arrive 15–20 minutes before Mass.

I want to serve as an Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion.

Sacristans serve a crucial role “behind the scenes” in preparation for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and other liturgies in a spirit of prayer and assistance to the priest, deacons, and Director of Liturgy. They oversee the preparation of all sacred vessels, ritual books, and lay ministers involved in serving at Mass. 

This position is open to parishioners 18 and older. Sacristans should also be initiated Catholics and undergo training. Serving frequency based off of your ability. We ask that sacristans  arrive 30 minutes before Mass and remain about 10-15 minutes after Mass.
