Chances are, if you landed on this page, you're a parent.
Who is your child's first teacher? Who is your child's most important teacher?
You are!
This means, you are also your child's first catechist.
Being a teacher of the Catholic faith to your own children does NOT require any special skills, certifications, or some sort of IQ test. We are ALWAYS teaching our children something - even when we're not trying. And, we do it naturally.
"The ministry of evangelization carried out by Christian parents is original and irreplaceable. It assumes the characteristics typical of family life itself, which should be interwoven with love, simplicity, practicality, and daily witness." - Pope St. John Paul II, Familiaris Consortio
Anything you do with your children to pass the faith on to them throughout their life is going to go leaps and bounds farther than anything we could hope to teach them during a faith formation class.
Let's be honest - as parents, there aren't a lot of places or times we get to ourselves to focus on our own prayer life, our own ongoing formation as disciples of Christ. So, let us give you that time and space to pray, to ponder the mysteries of our rich Catholic faith, and to equip yourself in 'echoing the faith' to your own children. (Fun Fact: Catechesis means 'echo the faith.')
Register now for one of our Family Faith Formation options, on Sundays after 11:30 mass or Wednesdays after school. We meet once or twice a month depending on holidays, and we give you everything you need (materials, support, a place to turn to for the hard questions) to teach your family at home.
