At St. John Neumann, radical hospitality opens the door to how we worship, grow, connect, and serve. Our Welcome Ministry helps bring this covenant to life by warmly welcoming parishioners and visitors, providing information about our parish and ministries, and helping everyone feel at home.
As a Welcome Ministry volunteer, you will greet each person with a cheerful good morning or good evening and a friendly smile, embodying the heart of our parish mission.
This ministry requires only a small time commitment but makes a significant impact. Volunteers arrive 20 minutes before Mass to gather with our Sunday ministry teams, say a short prayer, and prepare to serve. After Mass, you’ll stay a few minutes to answer questions and help guide parishioners and guests as they leave.
