As we approach this holy season of Advent and prepare our hearts for the joy of Christmas, I am filled with gratitude for you, for your faith, your generosity, and the way you help us live our mission to grow, serve, connect, and worship together.
At St. John Neumann, we are more than a parish, we are a beacon of light, welcoming all who walk through our doors and reaching out to those searching for hope, belonging, and Christ. This year, we have witnessed God’s grace at work: new families joining our parish, hearts touched through our ministries, and lives changed through worship, study, and service.
Now, as we close the year, I am asking for your help. Our December offertory goal is $803,000, a goal that is vital to sustaining our ministries, funding our outreach, and ensuring that our parish remains strong in the year ahead. Your year-end gift above your regular giving, will make an immediate and lasting difference. Your generosity during this season of giving will help us:
Welcome new members to our parish family and accompany them in faith
Expand opportunities for discipleship through Bible studies, retreats, and formation programs
Support our outreach efforts to those in need, both within our parish and beyond
Maintain the beauty and upkeep of our church and campus so that it continues to inspire worship
As we light the candles of the Advent wreath, may we also shine Christ’s light through our own generosity. Every gift, no matter the size, is a step toward meeting our goal and carrying forward the mission entrusted to us.
I invite you to make your year-end gift today, online at sjnaustin.org/give, by mail, in the offertory basket at Mass, or even through gifts of stock. Together, we can enter the new year strong, ready to welcome, serve, and shine Christ’s light for all.
On behalf of Fr. Luan, our deacons, staff, and the entire parish leadership, thank you for your faithful support. May the peace and joy of Christ fill your heart and home this Advent and Christmas.
