What is Hallow?

Through prayer and meditation rooted in the Catholic faith, Hallow helps people find peace and grow in faith, every day. As the #1 prayer app in the world, Hallow provides a wide variety of audio-guided meditation, prayer challenges, mental health content, sleep stories, and sacred music. Users are able to pray with Fr. Mike, Sr. Miriam, Jonathan Roumie, Mark Wahlberg, Immaculee Illibagiza, Bishop Barron, + many others.

An Overview of Parishioner Access

All parishioners – premium subscribers and those on the free version – are invited to be a part of our parish page. There, they can create a profile, add friends, share/respond to prayer intentions, and take part in prayer challenges together. For people brand new to Hallow, they’ll be given a $1 premium trial through which they’ll have access to all premium content on the Home tab. They can opt in or opt out (and still have access to the parish page).

For those who already have Hallow:

1. Open app, find Community tab (bottom of screen), create profile

2. Search for parish (zip code is fastest), join parish

3. Join How To Pray Challenge in Up Next section. They can also scan the QR code (hallow.com/parish) and follow the prompts. If they’re prompted w/ a special trial, they can redeem it for full premium access, or they can hit “skip” and they’ll be on the free version with access to the parish page.

For people new to Hallow: 1. Click the button or Scan QR code (hallow.com/parish)

2. Find parish (zip code is fastest), set up profile

3. Follow prompts to $1 trial (to opt out and be on the free version, hit “skip” when prompted)

4. Log into app w/ same credentials (phone # or email + password).

5. Join How To Pray Challenge in Up Next section.

FAQ’s

Do I need a subscription? No, free users and subscribers alike have access to SJN’s parish page. For those who wish to have access to all premium content on the Home tab, they’ll need a subscription. If they’ve never had a trial before, they can take advantage of the $1 trial by scanning the QR code or visiting hallow.com/parish.

Do I need to be a registered parishioner? No, anyone is welcome to join SJN’s parish page. Our hope is that those who do not yet have a parish home would be encouraged to become active participants in the life of the Church. Hopefully at SJN!

What if I can’t access SJN’s parish page? You may have an old version of the app – be sure to update! If you have the latest version of the app and still encounter an issue, send an email to [email protected] and follow the prompts.
