What are the specific challenges and opportunities we are trying to solve with this strategic plan?
With a significant increase in Mass attendance and an aging campus of buildings, we want to ensure we have the right staff, programs, volunteers and facilities to serve the needs of our growing parish.
How does this strategic plan connect to our current ministries or the existing Parish Covenant?
The strategic plan will be inclusive of all ministries, will be based on our “Worship, Grow, Connect, and Serve” Pillars, and will be based on our Divine Renovation work started in 2022.
Who is on the Executive Committee and how will Members of the larger Steering Committee be chosen?
The Executive Committee is made up of the Parish Leadership Team (PLT) currently in place. This team is a mixture of clergy, staff and parishioners. The Steering Committee will be a cross section of our ministry leaders, volunteers, and a demographic cross section of our members.
How do we know our feedback will be used to shape the final plan?
SJN has a track record of listening to our parishioners; from the Gallup Surveys, church chats, and parish experience. Additionally, we are following the Divine Renovation process which is all about transparency and inclusion.
